OAM Tehree as had an amazing life so far, from fostering over 41 children with her husband Hamish to rescuing Koala's, dingoes and all other kinds of wildlife. With a passion for helping disadvantaged and special needs adults and children.


Jirrahlinga Koala and Wildlife Sanctuary

  • Owner and Director, since 1975.

  • Houses more than 300 native animals.

  • Regularly hosts people with a disability, special needs, the frail or the aged, dementia

    patients, and disadvantaged youth.

  • Foster carer, caring for 41 children, approximately 30 years.

  • Ranger, Rural City of Bellarine, 1970s.
