Jirrahlinga is a private charitable trust owned by Tehree & Hamish Gordon. Mrs Gordon has devoted her life to the care of animals and the support for disadvantaged people. She still works at Jirrahlinga 7 days a week and is on call 24 hours a day for animal rescues, despite being diagnosed some years ago with MS. She never takes any salary for her work in the Sanctuary. Mr Gordon works full time in outside employment, donating the major portion of his salary to support the operation of Jirrahlinga. He also works at Jirrahlinga in his spare time. They are supported by a dedicated and enthusiastic team comprising of staff and volunteers.
