Jirrahlinga responds to over 5,000 calls a year to attend to sick, injured & orphaned animals.
We have 3 specialised hospital areas:
-
One specifically for the treatment of Koala's,
- One for the treatment of birds and
- One for all other animals.
The range of shots on the right show a Kangaroo that has burnt its feet escaping a bush fire.
Heres a common site, you've finished your beer and thrown the empty can out of the window, the snake is attracted by the scent and slithers into the can.
The problem is, snakes cannot reverse so they have no way of getting out of the can.
When/if they are released from this prison there's no friendly hiss for thanks, they are very angry and aggressive.
