Wildlife Training
Tehree Gordon has accumulated a vast knowledge in the care,
rehabilitation and release of Australian native animals. She ensures all
her staff have the necessary skills to provide optimum care for injured
and orphaned animals through ongoing training, both internally and
through external workshops and seminars, and she also enrols her staff
in Traineeships. To pass on her extensive
knowledge, Tehree also conducts training workshops for wildlife carers,
details of these can be obtained by contacting Jirrahlinga on (03)

Education
Providing appropriate educational experiences for Primary, Secondary and
Tertiary students on the characteristics and behaviour of our unique
wildlife is an important aspect of the Jirrahlinga experience.
This can be arranged through school excursions to
the Sanctuary, organising for a wildlife keeper to come to the school to
talk about the animals or in some circumstances arranging a work
experience.
Community Services
Excursions from aged care facilities, or organising for an animal keeper
to bring animals to their hostel for a personal experience is a delight
that our elderly citizens enjoy immensely.
Service Clubs are welcome to arrange for a guest
speaker to provide a greater understanding of conservation and the
dangers encountered by our wildlife, as well as the philosophy and
operations of Jirrahlinga.
Corporate Functions
Jirrahlinga can organise animal displays for corporate functions or
international or national seminars. Many international visitors do not
have time to travel to see our wildlife - so let us bring the wildlife
to them!
Birthday Parties
Why not give the kids a "Dinkum" Aussie Birthday party at Jirrahlinga?
We can arrange to cater for your party or if you wish to cater yourself
we can arrange the facilities.
